What William Did
William led the March to Sea,which was a important during the Civil War. William's nick name was Cump, Uncle Billy (by his troops). The March to Sea was about William going to Atlanta, Georgia and burned it to the ground. Now we have restored that part of Georgia which was Kennesaw. William use the tatic Total War on the South. Total War is destroying all the resources that the opponent needs to keep fighting. The North set up a blockade that keep them from trading with other countries.
